Are email links being rewritten using https? #404

Are email links being rewritten using https? If so they won't have a valid certificate. A user has reported this happening. This needs urgent investigation

I've double checked and email links are being rewritten as http as expected. What's happened for some reason with the user above is that they received an email alert with an http link which is getting rewritten somewhere as https and that is causing problems as you would expect. So, it's something different about the user's setup. I'm going to ask more question to try to figure out what's happening.
