initial output -> show background setting is wrong

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start webcamstudio
2. select a webcam source
3. start the webcam source
4. show previsualisation
5. look at output -> show background

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
At start output-> show background option is not selected
But as you can see in the webcam output previsualisation, it is shown !

To get the correct association between reality and the show background option
you have to play twice with this option

So I guess the initial value of option to show background is incorrect

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.57 DEV 88  on linux ubuntu maverick 10.10

well in fact there is no need to start any webcam  the problem can be seen as 
soon as webcamstudio is started
see attached screenshot
