Laggy/slow frame rate in virtual webcam output, 0.57b4 #68

When using a 'Selected Area' of my desktop as my virtual webcam, it appears
that the output is extremely choppy no matter what I set as the frame rate. I'm
on xubuntu 11.10 using 0.57 beta 4, and I noticed this problem a couple days
ago with Linux Mint 12 as well (with the same version of webcamstudio).

I have taken a video to illustrate this by hopping onto omegle and doing a side
by side comparison of the video that's playing and the cam output. You'll
notice that I even turn it up to 30 fps with no discernible change in the
output.

I never had this problem with an older version of webcamstudio I used (don't
remember the version but I was on ubuntu 10.04 and started using it around June
2010), and when trying to install 0.56 on xubuntu and Linux Mint to play around
with an older version, both gave me a dependency error and wouldn't allow me to
install.

I didn't see any other issues regarding this, is there something I'm doing
wrong?

This appears to be fixed in xubuntu 12.04, I no longer have this problem.
