As a geologist I want a way to save the well correlations I make So that I can recall work later and also create other products from my results

Definition of how the data is stored. It will need to have a way to store unique well and depth data.
There are open source methodologies published as best practices.
Suggested CSV minimum:
- Well ID, Measured Depth, correlation name, correlation type, interpreter, TVD, SSTVD
Additional attributes could be added later.

We are at a decision point for this data. The data structure is required to determine a method to load the data for each well.

There is the OSDU standards that we could look into for the storage of the data. Schema examples

I am having a hell of a time figuring out how to duplicate and populate the schema that is suggested. I'm not sure it is worth going down this path. You would think a "open" formatting suggestion would be a little more straight forward to use.

Internal to the app, we store the data in a version that StripLog can read.
