Revamp Navbar and Footer for Improved UI #605

Open Mefisto04 opened 3 days ago

Mefisto04 commented 3 days ago

Describe the features
The current navbar of the AI web application appears too simplistic and lacks visual appeal. Additionally, the footer section is missing, which detracts from the overall user experience. Enhancing these components will create a more engaging and modern interface.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Navigate to the homepage of the AI web application.
  2. Observe the navbar's design and layout.
  3. Scroll down to notice the absence of a footer section.

Expected behavior
The navbar should be visually appealing and user-friendly, incorporating modern design elements that align with the theme of the AI application. A footer section should be added to provide additional information and links, contributing to a cohesive look and feel. The homepage should also be improved to enhance overall aesthetics.

Revamping the navbar and adding a footer can significantly enhance the user experience and engagement with the application. Improved design elements will help the application feel more professional and aligned with its AI capabilities.

Is this another AI generated issue? Who has been using WebLLM as a test-bed for their hackathon?

For context: the current website was created relatively recently, and is already a huge improvement over the previous one. Not to mention the awesome chat interface that was created.

Personally I don't agree with these arguments, especially as there aren'y any. They are opinions, which I'll happily counter with my own: I think it looks great as it is :-)

Thanks for your input! I agree the website is a big improvement, and the chat interface is great. My point about the navbar and footer is that they don't fully match the theme of the project. Updating them would improve the overall look and user experience. I'm happy to help build them if needed!
