I know it is not the place for this, but I really wanted to say thank you for this work.

Nowadays, there are a lot of company or products or people... claiming they are the best, they can do everything, but when you to use them, it is not working, or badly. The bad luck syndrome. Slickgrid is the perfect opposite, it is just working, and working well. it is a pleasure of using it because you always know what you can do and most importantly what you cannot do. Even if it is a bit complicated at the beginning, with a lot of files to include for instance, at the end it is just brilliant and consistent.

So: thank you !

Too true. Slickgrid replaces for me a grid I purchased as part of a so called 'best of breed' controls package for $1000. That grid had all manner of intractable problems, buried so deep in the js code that the company effectively could not fix them. I spent weeks patching them just to get it working. I don't believe any of the alternatives were much better. Slickgrid is a hundred times better, simpler, more powerful. Like a drink of cool water in the desert. 'A design should be as simple as it can be to solve the problem. But no simpler.'

I like the plugin design principle, I can write some new plugins for a real complicated system. Its power is unlimited once you can think out an idea to fix your issues. Slickgrid is great component.
