Doesn't auto reconnect #359

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.leaving my wifi area and then...
2.returning to the wifi area
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I'd expect that notifier would continue running and that I wouldn't have to
restart the service every time I come home. Also happens if I switch from 3g to
wifi and then back again. Notifier says that it is still running but it doesn't
work until I go into the app again and that seems to trigger the service.
Please paste the application's log here (it should now be on your
clipboard):

What version of Android are you using?

In my case this happens even without switching from wifi to 3g or vice versa.
After a while the service stops sending notifications. If I enter into the
application, service notifications again, but after a while it stopped
notifications.

HTC Hero with Android 2.2 (rom Cronos).

Client: linux (Ubuntu 10.10) and windows (XP y 7).

I have the exact same problem with a Nexus S (2.3.4) under Win 7. I have the
Notifier setup to never sleep the Wifi when plugged in, but it stops sending
notifications after a while.
