The game rules are lot for people to remember. One simplification is to move all of the "round" notes to the playing surface and explain them as they get introduced.

Extra clever would be to highlight them the first couple of rounds.

Rules state "The game lasts 10 rounds” but once you start to play, it says “Round 1 of 14” at the top. (Maybe also repeat in Rules section that each round = 1 month of work.)

Need a better and more clear framing. There 7-8 rounds of actions. Once the game has finished offering new actions you can keep selecting more actions. So it has to be available for a few more rounds. When you're finished selecting actions it plays out the results to round 14 since some actions have lingering effects.
