Gem for markdown #522

There's been some interest in how we are using markdown in fulcrum metadata. Research making a gem which would the include service and renderer. Maybe this should wait until the plugin architecture that's supposed to happen with the cc/sufia merger.

When we get to the point of a stable plugin architecture we'll revisit this, but close for now.
