The changes look awesome to me! Thanks so much for doing this! Just waiting for CI now, then we can merge this, and I'll tag a a v2.0.0-alpha1 release and we can see about getting this thing onto opam!

Ah looks like CI wants OCaml 4 and bs-decode now wants OCaml 5. Would you mind also updating the ci script here to use the latest melange-supported version of OCaml? https://github.com/mlms13/bs-decode/blob/v2/.github/workflows/ci.yml#L18-L19
