Solve how to provide 12-16 Mhz clock signal, from Pi or crystal oscillator #6

Tried these instructions. echo 14> pwm0/period and below fails, so we cannot seem to get to a fast enough duty cycle.

Still in the race: header pin 7 with function GPCLK0, and a $1 crystal oscillator.
