Hello, this addon comes close to what I was looking for, thank you. These features would make it more convenient for me:

Automatic start with Thunderbird startup (each time, not only when the task has been started manually and then Thunderbird restarts)
more than one folder pair
folder context menu item and/or shortcut that starts the related task right away without opening the settings.

I agree that those would be great features. Sadly I don't have enough spare time in the foreseeable feature to implement them. BTW you can fork this repo and implement them yourself (its MIT-licensed).

Sadly I don't have the knowledge to do that.
