I am interested in using this library in a project in the next month or so, so I am adding a few things that would be useful to us (and maybe other people). Are you planning on releasing the v0.4 branch?

Changes in this pull request:

added support for optional about/provenance/originDescription tag.
small changes regarding setuptools / pep8
added dotfile for Travis testing

Thanks for your work. I squashed your commits a little and pushed them to the v0.4 branch. If you plan to add more contributions, you should reset your branch to my v0.4 branch or create a new branch based on it.

I'm still not sure about the OriginDescription though. I think I would like the Python objects to mirror the XML structure as closely as possible, like

record.about.provenance.originDescription
