Would be awesome if this supported files. I would love to take snap shots from my cameras and send them over a matrix chat room.

I got sick of waiting for this (this project is currently abandoned) so I decided to make my own node-red plugin: https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-matrix-chat

I added support for tons of new things that weren't supported in this plugin (such as file support).
