I plan to update bbotk and mlr3tuning on CRAN in 2 weeks. This PR should be sufficient to restore compatibility.

I don't understand why it fails, session info says that bbotk was installed. I will take care of this the way I solved it with paradox.

Current master should work with the new versions and is on the way to cran.
