A voice in my pocket #4

Some hours after downloading Trycorder and a very short fiddle with it, i heard a voice saying (i think) "right" and "ready" and "computer red\yellow alert". This kept happening in spite off my shutting Trycorder down. Twice. Now uninstalled.

Running stock v6.01 on a rooted Nexus 5.

Didn't spend enough time with this app to work out what it might be useful for.

The messages are normal. This is the communicator part of the trycorder that was active. You can disable it in the setup menu of the trycorder by changing "autoboot" and "autostop" settings.

What is the significance of "reopened #4"? A new aspect to talking Trycorders made itself known? Just wondering.

I just realised that this thread could be usefull to others too. so i reopened it.

Yes the trycorder, when fully activated is telling you things, even when your phone is off.

There will be a MUTE function in the settings from version 5.1.1 soon.
