Other Apps To Be Added?? #5

ATV4 can download Epix, Starz and Spike among other apps but does not allow xfinity login. Any chance these can be added?

Starz cannot currently be added because their authentication isn’t straight forward enough to be automated. There is a solution to do this manually using a chrome plugin: https://www.reddit.com/r/Roku/comments/5o1g93/any_workaround_for_the_starz_appxfinity_issue_yet/

The Spike channel is owned by Viacom and their apps can’t be tricked into authenticating with Comcast like the others. Here’s my explanation as to why: https://github.com/mludowise/AppleTV-XFinity-Activation/issues/2

I would need to look into how Epix does their authentication but I believe they’re owned by Encore which means they would likely work the same way as Starz.
