Dear Rola,
The problem seems limited to the use of the plugin on macOS. The problem reported is not linked directly with the code of the plugin but with the import of the same libraries (Matplolib, NumPy), that on your version of QGIS, they are not installed correctly. My suggestion is to try to remove completely the installation of QGIS and reinstall it. I haven't a macOS to try it, but I test it recently on a macOS with QGIS v. 3.16. In QGIS v.3.22, several things are changed on Windows PC, macOS, and Linux os. I suggest retrying it or downgrading the version of QGIS. On other Windows and Linux machines, I didn't denote a problem with the use of the Plugin with the QGIS v 3.22.
Many thanks for your reply !
I'm going to try it and come back to the forum ;)
Hi Marco,
Do you know which version of QGIS MacOS is similar to QGIS v.3.16 (windows) ?
Thanks !
Oh no, I apologize but I don't know it
Hi !
I can't get the plugin to work on my Mac. When I try to load the plugin, I get the following error:
`The plugin 'shoreline' could not be loaded due to an error calling its classFactory() method.
ImportError: dlopen(/Applications/QGIS-LTR.app/Contents/MacOS/lib/python3.8/site-packages/Pillow-7.2.0-py3.8-macosx-10.13.0-x86_64.egg/PIL/_imaging.cpython-38-darwin.so, 2): Library not loaded: /opt/X11/lib/libxcb.1.dylib Referenced from: /Applications/QGIS-LTR.app/Contents/MacOS/lib/python3.8/site-packages/Pillow-7.2.0-py3.8-macosx-10.13.0-x86_64.egg/PIL/_imaging.cpython-38-darwin.so Reason: image not found `
I don't see the icon in the menu bar either.
The QGIS version installed is 3.22.4-Białowieża. In principle, it is the most stable version we have at the moment.
Thank you very much for the help in advance.
Best regards, Rola
