This is a rework on this extension which provides the following:
Restructuring of files/classes/js
Update of regionlookup.civix.php according to CiviCRM 5.x
Declaration of variables on .settings.php file
Using the new method to store/retrieve values
Using the new menu structure
Expands MySQL table to add a country column as well
On the configuration page, a 2nd trigger has been added (supplementary): Country.
Added translations
New feature:
If a selector for country is being used, while regionlookup starts the lookup, it will search for both selectors. For example if postcode is 01090 and country is France, then regionlookup will be searching postcodes that are being registered in France.
If more than one postcodes have been found (even in the same country), a popup box will appear allowing you to select which city out of the multiple records you want to select.
We heavily use it for a client in France where for example postal code 57220 has 37 different cities.
This update will not work properly with CiviCRM 4.6 due to the new settings storing/retrieving configuration.
