Prepare for release:

[x] Check current CRAN check results
[x] Bump required R version in DESCRIPTION to 3.6
[x] Polish NEWS
[x] urlchecker::url_check()
[x] devtools::build_readme()
[x] devtools::check(remote = TRUE, manual = TRUE)
[x] devtools::check_win_devel()
[x] revdepcheck::cloud_check()
[x] Update cran-comments.md
[x] git push
[ ] Draft blog post
[ ] Slack link to draft blog in #open-source-comms
[ ] Create the cran/ branch and update the branch variable
[ ] Uncomment the indicated line in the .RBuildignore file

Submit to CRAN:

[ ] usethis::use_version('minor')
[ ] devtools::submit_cran()
[ ] Approve email

Wait for CRAN...

[ ] Accepted :tada:
[ ] Add preemptive link to blog post in pkgdown news menu
[ ] usethis::use_github_release()
[ ] usethis::use_dev_version(push = TRUE)
