I could't reproduce the problem - could you paster the full error message?

Ah! Ok, I have it too. I was dragging the scroll bar and everything worked. But when I clicked the arrow the scroll bar started racing up and without any visible errors matlab stopped working (froze)...

It is worth checking whether this problem persists in the current eeglab version and reporting to eeglab developers if it does. We are moving away from eegplot (everything will use fastplot) so this bug will not be dealt here.
