Right half SRV05-4ATCT? #24

Greetings,

This is probably an embarrassingly n00b-ish question, but should I also install a SRV05-4ATCT on the right half of the keyboard or should I leave the footprint unpopulated?

Looking at the Gerber, it appears the pads are wired up in a mirror-Y configuration from how the pads are connected on the left half of the keyboard. Looking at the spec sheet for the SRV05, so it wouldn't work with pin 1 in the upper-left like on the left half of the board and I don't think it would work if I rotated the package 180 degrees (though I may be wrong, I am very much a novice).

On a side note: what is the purpose of that chip? I know it's an ESD chip, but none of the other boards even have a footprint for it; just the 46. If I were to speculate, I'd guess it has to do with unplugging the headphone cable with the board powered but I'm not sure and didn't see an explanation in the doc.
