Metadata extraction column joining needs to be able to omit parts of the code that aren't needed. #76

E.g., if I include a unit of measure in the code, and that unit of measure is not a column in my metadata file and doesn't affect the linkage between other aspects of the code and the metadata, I should still be able to extract it. See https://github.com/mmcdermott/MEDS_transforms/blob/main/MIMIC-IV_Example/configs/event_configs.yaml#L217C6-L222C51 for an example.

Tagging @EthanSteinberg for tracking as this limits us a bit on metadata parity with formal meds.

Closing this issue as not planned for now; the temporary solution will be to set parts of the code that don't map to metadata as code modifiers so that the metadata can match directly (#78). This issue should be re-opened when that functionality is no longer sufficient.
