Possibly, but I won't make any promises. It's completely up for grabs if somebody else wants to port it, though :)

shornuk commented 6 years ago

Could use this too in a new Craft 3 build 👍

KatieMFritz commented 6 years ago

I haven't done a plugin before, but I'm happy to help test if someone else can take on the PHP aspects.

lewisjenkins commented 6 years ago

Please, let this come to Craft 3 soon 🙏

engram-design commented 6 years ago

Keen to see this on Craft 3. If you're happy to still maintain it, more than happy to work on a PR?

paul-frost commented 6 years ago

My sites are focused on events and being able to sort the CP entry list by a custom field of eventDate is very helpful. This plugin was part of my default install for every site I've built in Craft 2 so had forgotten that it was a plugin.

mmikkel commented 6 years ago

@engram-design The plugin is MIT, so feel free to adopt/port it if you want to. If not, I might still end up porting it myself (basically; if or when I need it myself) – I just have a lot to do in general and I'm trying to limit the amount of plugins that I have to maintain :)

mmikkel commented 6 years ago

You'd probably be able to give it a much catchier name, too... :)

KatieMFritz commented 5 years ago

@engram-design Are you working on this? Or is anyone else? So sad there's not a Craft 3 alternative yet!

shornuk commented 5 years ago

@KatieMFritz - We wanted this as well, so we created a plugin that's slightly different, but you should be able to achieve most of the same functionality. Essentially it allows you to create powerful filters for the CP. https://github.com/fruitstudios/craft-searchit

@shornuk Thanks! Looking into it. I'll see if it works for my client.
