@mmiron-HC Can we try this on the live login page (https://rsams.prod.cloud.openplus.ca/en/user/login) to see if it actually happens in production? Unfortunately I don't seem to have talk back installed on my phone so I can't verify myself. If it is happening, that's a bug and we will ask OP to fix, but need to confirm in the actual prod environment first.
@davidgotlieb I've confirmed that this occurs in PROD. See attached video
.
OK, thanks @mmiron-HC I'll report it as a bug.
Hi @mmiron-HC
OpenPlus hasn't been able to replicate the error, it's working fine for them using talkback on android. They ran it multiple times and were always successful. Could it be an issue with the devices you are using or something with the OS version? It doesn't seem to be an issue with the site.
This test was run on a Samsung A03s using Android v11
@davidgotlieb, I have been able to reproduce the issue on Samsung S10e on Andriod v12 TalkBack v. 13.1.02.0 chrome browser v100.0.4
I have only been able reproduce this issue when the focus is on the Username field, in edit status and when both the autocomplete menu and keyboard is active, and the user must swipe to right (which is the most common action performed the a user.
Here are updated steps to reproduce:
Could we get a severity rating for this one @mmiron-HC ? They're going to try to replicate it again with @hydegeoff's latest but if they can't I'm not sure what the next steps are to address this one. We're burning through a lot of our support time just trying to replicate this one issue, which is a pretty fringe use case.
@davidgotlieb we do not add severity on functionality/usability issues. We only add severity to WCAG issues.
I believe that is resolved. As mentioned previously, the CMS is unsupported on Mobile devices.
