Description of the issue or change request

How to better capture temporal aspects, in particular about deployments?

So far we have defined the two properties with domain Deployment:

startDate: xsd:dateTime
endDate: xsd:dateTime

to capture the beginning and end dates of deployments. These properties seem 
appropriate but we may want to better align with efforts in the semantic web, 
for example with OWL-time, http://www.w3.org/TR/owl-time/, and also in relevant 
OGC specifications. See related issue #26.
