check if MIDI magic numbers branch should be merged #110

There currently is an open branch with changes to the MIDI output and two commits:

Check if they are still relevant and need to be (partially) merged to master or if they are already included there in other ways.

Ouch, this really has to be merged. It fixes the generated MIDI files playing 3% too slow. That's a bad bug that should not have been lying around unattended for 1½ years… I'll update it to work with the current master version.

It's merged to master and we should be ready for the 0.0.97 release.
