Improve flow in section 5.3 #633

At the bottom of p. 150, the Jacobian had been introduced. (Side note: "we use the numerator layout" is used twice, both in the first and the last sentence of the paragraph straddling p. 150/151 - though this may be intentional to reinforce it?) The first full paragraph on p. 151 talks about the use of the Jacobian being discussed in Chapter 6. Then the following paragraph suddenly talks about the area of a parallelogram. This seems like a sudden jump, and the first time reading it it's not at all clear what is going to come next - this part could do with an improvement of the flow, adding some motivation/sign-posting for the reader what is going to happen next and why.

marking this as a feature request, because this goes a bit beyond 'fixing typos'. We'll revisit this when we're up for the next printing.
