Error in the simplification of eq 6.122 to eq 6.123 #662

The equation/expression in 6.123 states exp[(alpha -1).... The mathematically correct expression works out to be exp[(alpha +1)....

However this poses a problem with the following explanation on its non-exponential form as eq 6.124 also becomes incorrect.
