D7100 scene mode liveview prohibition #31

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select "Mode SCENE"
2. Press "Lv" button in dslrdashboard

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect the camera to go into liveview mode. Instead, I get a "Liveview
prohibition" warning in the app.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
D7100 and Android 4.1.2 on SGS3LTE.

Please provide any additional information below.
When I select "host mode" in the app and start liveview in mode "P", for
instance, and then, while liveview is on, select "Mode SCENE" in the app, there
is no such warning and the camera switches to that mode even in liveview. I can
then select a scene and the camera adapts its metering etc., as expected.

This leads me to believe that at least for the D7100 the "Liveview prohibition"
warning for "Mode SCENE" is wrong because the camera obviously supports this
combination.

This in fact also goes for both modes "AUTO" (with and without flash), and also
"Mode Effects", although for the latter there does not seem to be a way to
select effects in the app. Perhaps the button that displays the scene modes
menu should switch to displaying effects instead in this case (see issue #30).

Will also check but the prohibition message is from camera, so if you see that
message that means the camera does not allow entering live view.

I have the same problem with the D7100,"Live View Prohibition". Its not the
camera because with the same settings, the Nikon app works fine and you can see
the live view.

I'm not maintaining the old Android only DslrDashboard.
Please use the new cross platform qDslrDashboard from http://dslrdashboard.info
