How to eliminate some distracting symbols #1484

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.tesseract some receipt.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected:eliminate those disturbing symbols.
instead:some symbols like "--------" or "========" distract the result.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
tesseract-ocr 3.0.2 on win8.1

Please provide any additional information below.
Hi sir, I would like to ask about the implementation of tesseract.There are 
some symbols, like "--------" or "=========", distracting the recognition of 
the normal words. Is there any method that I can eliminate these kinds of 
symbols?
