10 months ago Alas, most of my time this week has been spent preparing, printing and distributing flyers for the local opensource expo where I explain that all those companies are taking part in an active extortion against me because of the sexually-motivated crimes and the corrupt police and judges - while my users try hard to not notice that I am have a $2.50 budget to eat per day.
The expo finishes tomorrow and I will have more time for the freeloaders.
Using github releases makes it more difficult to consume said binaries, as well of them being pre-built, enforcing Windows users to install Python and Visual Studio to run this library.
Making pre-compiled binaries that are served via npmjs makes this package completely independent of outside sources and software.
