this is a buglet (in 29.x). When I inspect a list that is the value of a slot in a acl-defstruct (from IELM), the list is actually shown as an a-list even if the panel says "proper list" (and viceversa).
This does not happen if I inspect a list directly from IELM.
I have not looked at the code, but it is probably just a value switcharoo :)
