ZTE Warp #1440

Which device (manufacturer, type)?
ZTE Warp

Which firmware is installed?
Android version 2.3.5
Rooted

What version of wireless tether are you using?
3.1-beta2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. If you set WiFi Tether manually to "ZTE Blade" under Device profile and
"Netd" under setup-method it comes up in infrastructure mode but does not
communicate.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect WiFi Tether to start AP in infrastructure. Expect netbook to detect an
infrastructure AP which it does and connect (connects @ 72 mbps which I think
is strange)

Please provide any additional information below.
I was trying to assist another user
(http://androidforums.com/zte-warp/500004-wireless-non-ad-hoc-tether.html) and
made some progress! seems like mabe a dns or routing issue now.

I have the ZTE Warp. Feel free to let me know if I can provide any information
from the phone that you may need.

Please install the latest Wifi Tether, pull up a terminal and read the log cat
for Wifi tether while it is set to Device Auto. Let me know what the model and
OS are.

Also while tether is off and on I need a copy of the following terminal
command's output. "ip link"

just copy and paste the whole list, particularly I need the device names and an
ip address if they have one (I do not need your cellular IP). Make sure you are
not connected to wifi when you pull the lists. Thanks!
