Can't connect to internet, although my computer appears in Access Control #1541

I have the Galaxy S2, and I can successfully connect my computer to the phone 
with no errors, but there seems to be no internet. My computer shows a 
successful connection and so does WiFi Tether. The computer is connecting via 
ad-hoc mode.

Why can't I get internet? What info can I post here to help fix this?

By the way, I tried Wired Tether for Root Users and it works perfectly so I'll 
use that for now (http://code.google.com/p/android-wired-tether)... Have you 
guys stopped developing that one?
