1. This a confusing form to submit a problem obviously i dont know how the
problem started?? so i cant tell u how to reproduce it?
2. When i touch the app to start it says "The application Wireless Tether

the background
no matter what i do...ive tried re-installing the app (uninstalling and
re-installing not jus re-doing the install so it says "you already have

I am having a similar problem on the Samsung Fascinate. just finished rooting
the phone and removing some of the minor bloatware (blockbuster app, vcast,
vznav, samsung clock widgets, kindle, skype). I can load the app, but as soon
as I select the "press to start tethering" I get the message "The application
Wireless Tether (process android.tether) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try
again.

No matter how many times I retry it, I continue to get the same message. I am
a root newbie and could use any help that can be provided. Thank you.

Long live Android.

Daniel, I had the same issue. Try to uninstall the App and reinstall the
working version for fascinate. I was able to boot up the program that way.
don't forget to restart :) btw, i used ez root after smacking the fascinate a
couple of times.

I have an LG Esteem metro pcs. And it's the ZVC version. I successfully rooted
the phone, and installed the tethering app. My laptop which is a Toshiba
satellite A505-S6965 sees the network called android tethering and the signal
strength is superb. Now the issue I have with this is that it doesn't connect.
It says network taking longer than expected. I also turned off fire-wall and my
antivirus just to make sure and it still doesn't connect to my laptop... The
suck factor is that I see the network on my laptop with full bars.... Anybody
can help me?
Thank You
Adrian

What version do I use on Galaxy Nexus? Tired of trying multiple failures.
