Tether switches off randomly #1852

Which device (manufacturer, type)?
LG Optimus G

Which firmware is installed?
4.1.2

What version of wireless tether are you using?
3.3-beta2-06102013

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Random Usage
2. Extended Usage
3. Waking the phone

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Would prefer to have continuous access to the tether.  Instead the tether 
switches off and disconnects after a few minutes usage.

Please provide any additional information below.
If i let the phone screen turn off, waking it up causes immediate disconnect.
