Which device (manufacturer, type)?
HTC Rezound

Which firmware is installed?
CM 10.1.3 RC2 vigor
Android 4.2.2

What version of wireless tether are you using?
3.4-experimental1
3.3-beta2
3.3-beta1
3.3-pre1
2.0.8-pre1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
I've tried different hardware profiles (Generic, Generic ICS, Samsung Nexus,
HTC Rezound) with different driver reload settings (1 checked, 2 checked, both
checked) with the routing fix enable, no encryption, set to auto or netd or
netd-Ndc and with send netd max client cmd check (or unchecked).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see a wireless SSID to connect to. I don't.

Please provide any additional information below.

This must be a cm 10.1.3 rc1 issue.

This is happening to me with an htc jewel (htc evo 4g lte)

Having the same issue with a stable release of CM 10.1.3 on a Samsung Galaxy
Nexus. I've tried much of the same combos as the original reporter and do not
see the SSID.

The app reports tethering started with errors. The log shows that "Configuring
AP" is failing (which, of course, leads to a failure in "Starting AP").

Is there something else I can do to get you guys more info? (Or is there a fix
for this already out there?)

I am currently running 3.3-beta2.

So I just upgraded 10.1.3 stable and still no luck :(

This was working in cm 10.1.2's M2 snapshot that I ran for about a year

http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=jewel&type=snapshot

It was definitely broken sometime after that
