Entering custom SSID has no effect #1967

Which device (manufacturer, type)? MotoX ATT XT1058

Which firmware is installed? 4.4

What version of wireless tether are you using? 3.3beta2-06102013

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Change Device-Profile - Generic ICS/JB(wlan0)
2. Change SSID to myssid
3. Tick Wifi-driver reload
4. Tick Keep Alive
5. Reinstall binaries/configs
6. Start tethering
7. On PC, note that broadcast SSID is still wlan0
8. Reboot device
9. Start tethering
10. repeat step 7

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
