Cannot pass network traffic with Access-Control on CyanogenMod 6.0.0 #585

Which device (manufacturer, type)? Motorola Droid A855

Which firmware is installed? CyanogenMod 6.0.0

What version of wireless tether are you using? 2.0.2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enable Access Control by checking the option listing in Setup
2. Enable notifications for Unauthorized or All Clients
3. Start wireless tethering (bluetooth or WiFi)
2. Connect your client to the wireless network
3. Android OS notifies you that a client is attempting to connect - check the
client's MAC address in the Access Control list and click apply. A message
shows that the Acess-Control setting is saved.
6. Verify that the wireless client is successfully configured for the network
using the OS's network configuration tools
6. Attempt to browse to www.google.com in a browser from the connected wireless
client.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The client should load the google.com homepage. Instead the browser indicates
that the web page could not be found. While attempting to load the web page,
you notice that the browser was unable to resolve the DNS request and that you
are unable to ping the wireless network gateway.

Please provide any additional information below.
For whatever reason, wireless tether seems unable to acknowledge that allowed
clients should receive network traffic once configured. I attempted to work
around the issue by adding the client to the allowed list then restarting the
Wireless Tether, with no success. Whenever I disabled Access-Control, I was
able to successfully pass network traffic and browse the web.

Using 2.0.5-pre9, I experience the same issue on both Bluetooth and WiFi.
Anything more I should do?
