Which device (manufacturer, type)?HTC EVO 4G

Which firmware is installed? Android 2.2 Software#3.29.651.5 Unrevoked 3

What version of wireless tether are you using? 2.0.5-pre2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Unrevoked 3
2. Install Wireless Tether
3. Start Wireless Tether

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It says that wireless tether is broadcasting, but I can't see it when I "View
Available Wireless Networks" with my laptop. Nintendo DS doesn't find it either.

Please provide any additional information below.

The program installed with no problems, I allowed it with the superuser
application. It seems to be working fine except that I can't see the SSID with
the machines I need to connect. I currently have a paid subscription to Sprint
hotspot, but I have turned off that capability on the phone in Sprint's
settings.

2.0.5-pre2 is an OLD experimental release. Use the latest experimental release
(2.0.5-pre11) this includes an workaround for android 2.2 (evo) which does NOT
EXIST in 2.0.5-pre2!

Belated thanks for the info. I got rid of my Droid, but got it again, so I'll
try it with the 2.2.
