Running on HTC Incredible, with CyanogenMod 6.2

Using version 2.0.5 of wireless tether

Every time I connect to the android tether network, it brings up a new network
name. I'm currently at Network 57.

Ik get the same also. i used this android-wifi-tether without this issue on my
Galaxy 5 but now on my acer liquid metal s120 on MiUI 2.3.9 got this problem
also

And the weirdest part, on windows 7 it says no internet connection but all
works fine!

You can consolidate them. Go to the Network and Sharing Center, your current
connection should be listed under the active networks, click the ICON of that
connection (never thought of that, right?), you'll get to a dialog where you
can rename the connection and also, at the very bottom, there will be an
option/link to merge or delete the networks, you should be able to select all
those clones and click Merge.
