Tether won't start in Cyanogenmod 7 #815

HTC Glacier (T-mobile MyTouch 4G)

Which firmware is installed?

Cyanogenmod 7 android 2.3 Gingerbread Build #51

What version of wireless tether are you using?
Latest

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start Tether

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: tether works
Instead: Hangs on "Start Tethering - Please wait while starting..." animation

Please provide any additional information below.
It was working in build 37.

Can confirm this.

Cyanogenmod 7 android 2.3 Gingerbread EVO 4G

Going into settings and then SSID then reboot worked for me clearing up the 
starting hang.

But errors trying to start the wifi adapter
