how to change the mtu to 1492 so i can play xbox live #831

Which device (manufacturer, type)?
samsung captivate
Which firmware is installed?
2.2 cognition rom
What version of wireless tether are you using?
2.0.5-rc2
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.connect xbox 360 to teheher
2.try to sign into  xbox live 
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
to connect to xbox live,instead it says the mtu needs to be set at 1492
Please provide any additional information below.

Please check issue 814 ... this will be integrated into version 3 of the app.

Version 3 came out yet theres still no support for mtu settings. Anyway to get 
the xbox live going? Any help would be appreciated!
