Random reboot when unplugging device from charger or losing 4g connection #864

Which device (manufacturer, type)?
Epic 4g

Which firmware is installed?
EB13 (2.2.1 Froyo), Launcher Pro

What version of wireless tether are you using?
3.0 pre10

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Unplugging the phone from charger
2. 4G network disconnecting - dropping down to 3g
3. Sometimes would happen at random - would work for 20 minutes or so than the
phone would randomly reboot without any provocation.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Please provide any additional information below.

Get random reboots when using the 3.0 pre10 wifi tether. Noticed that I
consistently get a reboot when unplugging from charger when the Wifi tether is
on, and when using 4G and it drops down to 3g. Did not happen when used the Ad
Hoc mode version.

Wanted to add that I am rooted with 1-click root. Also, thank you for the
infrastructure mode - works beautifully.

Will try to provide a shell log as requested, although I already see this issue
has been posted

Well. I didn't get any useful information (log, dmesg or whatever) about those
reboots (I don't own such a device). I still believe something interferes and
tries to load the wifi-kernel module (for a geo-location-service or whatever)
when tethering is running.
