Sending SMS longer than 160 characters screws up my messaging app #321

Sometimes I will try send a long SMS on my phone via GTalkSMS from my IM client
on my computer. It will sometimes return a "Reply contact is..." message but
no delivery confirmation, or sometimes return nothing.

The message will not have been sent. I then go into the messaging app on my
phone, and the message is there in the thread as if it has been sent. But it
hasn't. If I then try to forward the message to the same recipient in the
messaging app, it will fail to send. If I repeat it will fail again. If I
restart the phone then I will be able to forward it successfully.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Can't always reproduce it. Sometimes it will happen, then if I restart the
phone and try to send the message from my IM app via GTSMS , it will work and
return a delivery report.

Additional informations:
Phone model: Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Android 4.1.2

Can you confirm that this only happens if you send messages longer then 160
chars? Could you generate an app log (
https://code.google.com/p/gtalksms/wiki/GenerateAppLog ) and attach it to the
issue?

I did just create a log and email it to the correct issue number as per the
instructions. Has it been attached?

Sorry for the delay.
I see no error in your logs.

Do you have the "sent message" notification activated? The delivery message
depends on your ISP.

Does it happens only with 160+ char message? With a specific word or special
character?

The issue can be closed now it seems to be working with latest GTalkSMS release
/ CyanogenMod nightly.
