A setting so that the webcam image is not mirrored would be fantastic!

Fixed in Version 2.1. There is now a "mirrored" property. You can test it out 
at http://myprojectguide.org/p/flash-videoio/test.html and check "live" and 
"mirrored" properties. Lemme know if this doesn't work.
