I am trying to connect to an OwnTracks instance running under Sandstorm.io The message there says
Connecting with the mobile app Step 1: Get the app Download OwnTracks for iOS or OwnTracks for Android. Step 2: Configure the app Tap the i icon in the top left and tap "Settings". In the URL field, enter: https://s:YpCFZCCZcfa-g8j2mBtsNyjHkx9bfIFoi8fmK9MEsty@api-b72c708adce1f01db8af4652cf27d277.oasis.sandstorm.io Tap "Status Info" to return and you should eventually see the status as "idle".

The URL provided is a grain that you can use to test the connection. From the Android application I do not see the icon (I presume it is referring to the iOS version).
