Render boundaries outside #1000

For the image regions it would be nice if the boundaries would be rendered outside the images.

To do so the BoundarySource would need a switch to outer boundaries (right now it is inside).

Yes, indeed, I found this also distracting. I was also wondering about having a circle as boundary, since many plates have circular wells. This brings up another issue. When scanning plates, it's possible to scan also regions at the edge of the well, so part of the circle could run through your image. Ideally, the boundary would follow the circle of the well, but that would be too hard to implement I guess. Anyway, it's mostly cosmetic, so wouldn't be a priority.
