It would be good to have an option where automatically an equidistance spacing is applied.
Maybe N * the spacing of the source with the lower resolution as a default.
The issue could be that for some slices the registration does not work in a sense that it produces a bad result. Such transformations should be somehow excluded (or at least there should be some option to do this manually).
The workflow could be that one manually tries things on several slices and if it looks good on let's the automated method run.
